Results in from the ONS to report that retail sales rose 1% in January.
The high street has had it tough for the past few years and we may not be out of the woods yet but it’s as positive result.
Contrasting a 0.7 fall in December 2018 but showing a 4.2% rise against January 2018 it surpassed the economists expectations and is one of the largest annual rises in sales for more that two years.
